The cluster of ancient tombs at Lijiashan Mount have been classified as "The Fifth Batch of National Protected Cultural Relics", the bronze wares unearthed deserve to be called the outstanding representatives of ancient Yunnan, unearthed close to 4000 articles of bronze wares, and the event was appraised as one of the nation's top 10 new archaeological discoveries in 1992.The "Cow-Tiger Bronze Table" listed as one of the nation's first grade cultural relics has an extremely high value in the artistic culture, and a brilliant pearl of the world's bronze culture as well. It constitutes an important part of Chinese bronze culture, these exists a prolonged and profound relationship with various later historical and cultural period in Yunnan.It is also closely related to the historical culture of Southeast Asia, Japan and South Asia. It is a blending pot of various cultures of China and western countries as well as other multi-ethnic groups. The Dian bronze culture is rich in contents, broad and deep; with Lijiashan Mount as the centre, it radiates out in all directions to form a realm consisting of a variety of bronze cultures, which have dissimilar characteristics.
The "Cow -Tiger Bronze Table" unearthed at Lijiashan Mount tombs attracts people's attention most. It is a masterpiece of the Yunnan Bronze Culture, shares the same fame with the Flying Swallow under the Horse's Hoof discovered in north China, and is praised as a rare treasure in the world. Some of these unearthed precious cultural relics have been exhibited in Beijing and abroad, created a sense.
